Robyn Love is an artist who lives and works in Elmastukwek, Ktaqmkuk (Bay of Islands, Newfoundland), Canada.
Love’s work is embedded in collaborative rituals of kinship and care that disrupt dominant narratives. Using performance, installation, textiles and shared storytelling, Love makes visible and affirms forgotten or erased histories.
She draws on the repetitive processes of making a life as her inspiration – cooking, cleaning, mending, caregiving and conversation – to create work that invites a shift in what we value, uplift, and remember.
